Overall, you have done a very great job with this piece.
One of my favorite things about this picture is how you interpreted AJ's outfit. It looks kinda casual and beat up, but stylish and attractive at the same time(especially the belt!).
With the hands, I feel that the lines indicating the skin fold thing is too dark, and thus makes the hands look odd. Also, her ear seems to be somewhat small.
However everything else about this piece is awesome! I absolutely adore her expression, and the sketchy, diagonal lines and colors remind me of old sepia farm photos!
From line quality to pose, there is not much one can find to fault with this piece, even the artist signature with its little tears has personality.
The lighter emphasis on the background scenery lines provides a nice little bit of atmospheric perspective while making her pop out of the scene as the center of attention. Her proportions, for this style, are spot on and all of the line strokes are perfect in weight/pressure/intensity. The use of the color overlay is completely appropriate and brings this image to life.
I don't even watch MLP but you can get a good feel for her character from her attire, down hair, and especially the line of action in her pose and how she holds her weight. I'm glad you chose to not draw her nose; inferring its existence with a shadow is enough for the viewer to fill the rest in with the mind, and it places more emphasis on her eyes as she looks off with a cute little smile.
There's something unusual happening with the hands. I think the line depicting the indent between the ball of the thumb and the rest of the palm is probably too long on both hands. A more precise shading on the inner forearms and/or the bumps associated with the ends of the Radius and Ulna bones might also help with the definition of what's going on.
I'm also not entirely sold on the shape of the horizontal bars on the fence. I assume they're supposed to be round but the missing ambient occlusion where they are lashed to the fence posts doesn't fully convey that. It would be a very quick fix however, if you throw in a little more cross hatching at those locations.
Overall the piece is completely stunning and the positives obliterate the minor drawbacks.
